I cannot seem to get this going. I had it up on my old site but getting nowhere now.
My error log shows...

[Mon Aug 30 14:32:06 2004] [error] [client 12.74.211.125] Premature end of script headers: /home/whbc/whbchurch-www/cgi-bin/calendar.pl
[Mon Aug 30 14:32:11 2004] [error] [client 12.74.211.125] Premature end of script headers: /home/whbc/whbchurch-www/cgi-bin/calendar.pl
[Mon Aug 30 14:32:55 2004] [error] [client 12.74.211.125] Premature end of script headers: /home/whbc/whbchurch-www/cgi-bin/calendar.pl
[Mon Aug 30 14:32:59 2004] [error] [client 12.74.211.125] Premature end of script headers: /home/whbc/whbchurch-www/cgi-bin/calendar.pl
User not found ['whbc']

I have $BASE_DIR set to this, does this look right?
$BASE_DIR ="/home/whbc/whbchurch-www/cgi-bin/calendarscript/";

Thanks for any help.

Can you run debug.pl and see what it says?

If it says
User not found ['whbc']

in the error log for both, then it's something specific to your server. I would ask your ISP. I've not seen this error before when running cgi scripts.

"If it says
User not found ['whbc']"

That sounds like either the file/folder permissions aren't set loose enough or there is an .htaccess entry interfering. Have you set your permissions to 777 as suggested?

Or perhaps the absolute path isn't right?
Did you try commenting out the $BASE_DIR line? On our server we don't need it.

musicvid you were absolutly right.Commenting out the $BASE_DIR line was what needed to happen. Many thanks for the help here. Best calendar program out there!
