I am not a PERL person but is there any way to add some code so that when a new post gets placed on the calendar, a "NEW" icon or text apears next to the headline but for only a couple days. ONce the couple days is up, the NEW icon would automagically disapear?

You'd have to add a "date_added" field to either the events.txt file or the schedule.txt file, then hack the Perl code to be aware of the new field, then modify the templates to add the icon if today's date is within "x" days of date_added.

I like your version that you came up with. I would like to know if you wouldn't mind passing your version to me. I run the media ministry at a local church here in Ont and would like to look at using your version.

Thank-you in advance.
