My CalenderScript worked fine for over a year.
Suddently I get a blank page when I click the submit button after adding an event and then scheduling it.
When I am downloading the whole thing and trying it on my own local apache server everything is still fine, so I am sure it is my host (who can not find out to help me) who has changed something. But what?

I see that the script makes 2 files which both are chmod 644.
One is schedule.tmp in calendars/my calendar library.
The other is (just a number)721453442319.txt in the session library.

I am on an apache server and I have not uncommented #$BASE_DIR because everything has always worked fine. Everything else is still working fine, just that most important thing about adding events is not working any more.

What can I do? (and what have my ISP changed?)My ISP can not tell me anything.

** What can I do? **

Have to checked your server's error logs to see if a an error message was recorded at the time?

It may be a problem with file or directory permissions.

Dear Dan O!

Some time ago I was posting something very close to the thing I am taking about and you proposed to upgrade to 3.2 as you (as I remember it)ment the new version did not use tmp files.

Exactly now (I had changed a lot)I have finished my upgrading and now the thing works again, so I do not any longer have any problems.
Thank you for your proposal!
And thank you also for your great activity -for all the help you are giving people here in the forums!

---------------

Anyway, I am still very interested in an answer on my question. I mean what if the new version 3.2 was not made?
I can not myself check the server log (do not know how)because "my" server is Tiscalis in Denmark and their supporters (maybe because Tiscali is too great)just told me they could not see anything helpfull.

I hope still that an eagle could tell "Oh with that and that script and with what you can tell, they could have done that or that with their Apache server, so you just need to try this or this to get it fuction again.

-------------

But Dan, thank you again, and now use your time on better things.

** now the thing works again **

Glad to hear it. Thanks for the follow up.

** their supporters just told me they could not see anything helpfull. **

Than *I* would look for another host. If they can't (or won't) help you with the simple things, how is their support going to be in the case of a real problem?

Food for thought.

Dan O.
