Adding New Calendar
«
on:
July 04, 2007, 02:31:47 PM »
I've been using CalendarScript for a long time, and I haven't added any calendars lately.
I went to Manage Calendars, added the new calendar, copied an existing calendar's events and configuration to the new calendar, and when I asked to view the calendar, I got a blank screen.
I don't know what to do next. Please help!

What operating system are you using?
And, again, this sounds like a permissions problem, make sure that file has the proper permissions...

The file permission are set to 777, just like all the other calendars.

Goto your error log and see what file is throwing the 500, and change that file to 755.. alternatively, change them all to 755...

I'm not getting any error 500.
I have changed files to 755 and there is no change.
I have changed the template this calendar is using to a template another calendar is using successfully and I still get a blank page.
I have 8 calendars under MetaCalendar 2 and all the others work.

hxxp: www. cert-la. com/calendar/calendar. cgi?calendar=default
That's the main calendar.
This is the one I've been talking about:
hxxp: www. cert-la. com/calendar/calendar. cgi?calendar=call-out&template=default. html

I loaded that page and also got a blank page..
This has to be permissions based problem.. what kind of server are you running this on?
Do you want me to ftp in and look at this?

** calendar.cgi?calendar=
call-out
**
Do any of your other calendars have a hyphenated calendar key? I know templates with hyphens don't work. Maybe its the same for calendar keys?
Just a thought

Thank you. That worked.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to use DaySpan for that calendar.
