Running CS 3.2, rackshack server running RedHat 7.2. This was installed 8 months ago and has ran fine until this evening. Nothing on the server has been changed, $BASE_DIR is properly set, debug.pl gives a clear bill of health, the session/ directory has files in it and is chmod 777'd, error_log has no errors about the script.

When I try to log in as Administrator I get a message to change the password, but it just loops back to the login screen. I've searched around the support forum and I've not seen a resolution yet. Any ideas?

I found my solution:  I'm using the cPanel control panel front-end system to manage domains and services. There is a noted bug in the software where some accounts will randomly reset their quotas to what they were originally created with.

In this particular case, when cPanel reset its quota, it prevented the directories from being properly written to. When the quota was reset to where it should have been, the script started working normally again.
