I have just released the Delete User Events plug-in which allows the administrator to delete all of a single user's events in a single shot and then a choice to delete the user as well.

After clicking the new link in the administration menu the administrator is taken to a page which lists all registers users. Selecting one of them brings up a screen showing the total number of events that user has posted and a button to delete those events. Once all the events are deleted, the administrator has the option of totally removing that user from the calendar system.

If you have users spamming your calendar with bogus or unwanted events, this could help save time removing them.

This plug-in is probably not useful if your calendar allows posting by anonymous users but could be useful for those calendars using the Auto Registration plug-in and even just normal use.

It is available for download from the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site.

Does this work with Meta Calendar 2?

It would only work on the individual calendars, one at a time. It would not find all events on all calendars at the same time unfortunately, but deleting of the user could be delayed until each calendar was searched for their spam postings.

I might not fully understand what this plug in does, but my application has an admin for each of the sub-calendars.  The calendars are publicly viewable and only the admin can add events to their sub-calendar.  What I am looking for (sort of like a super-admin) would be a way to review all of the admins and delete or suspend any that are abusing the system .  Is there a way to have it do this?

If you went to any of the 'sub-calendars' you would be able to delete any user's events from that calendar. The plug-in will only display the total number of events that user has posted (not the events themselves) and then give you the option of deleting all of that user's events.

This is how it is meant to be used; you notice/find out a user is spamming and then you use the plug-in to delete all their events from the calendar in a single shot rather than one by one. You can not preview those events from any of the plug-in's screens to find out what they're about.

Thanks for the explanation, I think I understand it now.
