Hi All,

Calendarscript has been successfully running for about three years with no problems whatsoever.   For the first time, we have a Username with an apostrophe in it.   We were able to escape the apostrophe by using a \, and the username, when selecting the command "Edit/Delete Users", displays with the backslash and apostrophe.   No problem.   However, when we click the EDIT button next to that user, all fields are blank, and we cannot update that user's infomation.   It would appear that the backslash is not escaping the apostrophe when that information is output on the edit page.

Suggestions anyone?

Thanks,
Sarah

** we cannot update that user's information. **

The users.txt file in the /calendarscript/ directory should be able to be manually edited using a text editor if necessary. Be sure to keep a backup of the original just in case.

I do not know how you can correct the system so such a user name is acceptable. Sorry.

Dan O. ,
Thanks for the response.   I now know to stop fighting this battle.   It's still a great script.
