The default is to display the entire month but I want it to display the current day

I would like to put a link under mini-calendar to display the CalendarScript default grid to get an overview and also for printing.

Is there a way to include attachments?

Email notification

Is there a way to have an opt-in mail list to notify people of new calendar events?

** DoubleCal - The default is to display the entire month but I want it to display the current day **

Have you tried setting the Default View: option to "Day" under Calendar Administration : Template Preferences?

** I would like to put a link under mini-calendar  **

Add the necessary HTML code right after the mini-calendar HTML table code. Eg.

<%/FOREACH%> </tr>
<%/FOREACH%>
</table>

 ADD YOUR LINK CODE HERE

   </TD>
</TR>
</TABLE>

<!-- your page code here -->

** Is there a way to include attachments? **

I don't know what you mean by that.

** Email notification **

Not other than the EmailNotify2 and CSR (CalendarScript Reminder) Plug-In which are in beta testing and available from the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site. Maybe Matt is/will work on such a feature for the next release of CalendarScript? It seems to be a wanted feature.

Dan O,

I missed the Tempalte preference. I did check it but missed the option for the default view.

On the HTML link under the MiniCal I was not asking for the location but for the code which would display the grid version of CalendarScript. I did some experimenting and found the right combination of code to display the month being viewed.

I've had a request to attach a file to an event ... don't know why they want that but I did ask anyway.

Thanks for your assistance.

** I was not asking for the location but for the code **

Sorry, you never said.

** I've had a request to attach a file to an event ... **

That would require 'uploading' a file to your server and storing it there. There are no such upload features currently available AFAIK and could be problematic (for security reasons) to implement. I'm sure it should be possible but would require custom programming.
