for some reason, auto links aren't working. i typed a url in an event description (full url beginning with http) but it is not linking. i have checked my options and both html and auto link are turned on. what am i missing?

i tried with the default template and figured out that the link works when you click on view event, but the link doesn't work when you click on view day. is there a reason for this?

This could be a bug. I have a report of a similar bug, but I'm not sure if it's the exact same thing (my list is not with me right now). If it's the same thing, it will be fixed in the next version.

Hey, I ran across the same problem, too, and I figured out that the script looks for whitespace around the address. Just make sure that there's a space before, and a space after, the web address, and it should work.

The target attribute "_blank" is not working in autolink. I tried the suggestion about leaving a blank before and after the web address but that does not work.

If I provide a full html description as <a href="xxxx.com" target="_blank"> site </a> then of course, I get the desired result.

However this tool will be used by unskilled people who may be challenged by having to add some html.

Any suggestion on how to make this work properly would be welcome.

I figured out how to use the target blank feature properly.

It will work if I write http://www.xyz.com  and will display that exact text.

However the display text which goes to the link, the conventional <a href="www.xyz.com" target="_blank?>XYZ</a>
must be used.

Is this correct?
