I just installed the plugin according to the instructions.   Since i am using a the doublecal template to display my calendar on my homepage, how can i access the auto-registration log in? I guess what my real question is.  .   once i've set up the username "_template" and set up all the desired auto registration permissions, how do i make a button that logs in with that username automatically to make changes and skip registration? Thanks in advance - Dave

Here's my calendar

** how do i make a button that logs in with that username automatically  **

I don't know what you mean by that.  New users don't "log in with that username" (ie.  "_template"), they just register picking their own username and p/w and their user account settings are copied from the "_template" user account.

** skip registration? **

The whole purpose of registering using that plugin is to set up their account for them.  "Skipping" that would prevent their new account from being created.

Please explain more clearly what you're trying to accomplish.

Thanks for responding dan!

Ok i think what i meant to ask is this, "How do i make it so that when you click on a button, it takes the person to the auto-registration sign up rather than the regular sign up?" Is there a way to make it so that you can use the regular sign up(admin approved listings)  along with the auto-registration(auto approved listings) sign up at once? What i'm trying to do is charge a fee for the auto approved listings and keep the admin approved listings free.  Thanks in advance.

JFYI. There is no "regular sign up", there is a  sign IN   though.

A person will be able to auto-register when you add the link to your template which is described in the plug-in's  installation instructions.

The instructions also shows an example link if you'd like to put it on one of your own web site pages rather than the calendar:

The regular sign-in form is not affected with this plug-in. Once a user has an account set up for them (which is what the autoregistration plug-in is for), they have to sign in to use whatever permissions you've given them.
