We recently had our calendar administrator update schedules for the remainder of the year. There was a Server event (I suspect this occurred when our Server was moved to a new Server with a different name) that caused all of the updates to be lost. I (the webmaster) was attempting to determine what files I could download and backup to restore in such a case.  Would this involve any files other than 'events.txt' and 'schedule.txt'?  Should all of the files in the 'default' directory be downloaded and backed up? How about any files in other directories?

Yes, all the files in the calendars/default directory although that won't save the main calendar settings (colors, etc.).
