I have just started trying to get 3.21 to run on my website, but I continually get "premature termination of script headers" from my host's error log...I don't quite understand exactly what path I need to install in $BASE_DIR...extension names and permissions are all ok...any advice?
The calendar debug runs ok and declares that the setup is good and that calendar and _admin should run ok
By the way...debug runs ok when permission is set to 744 but yields the same "premature termination" error with permission is set to 777

** I don't quite understand exactly what path I need to install in $BASE_DIR **

Most people don't need to set that variable at all. Did you try the script leaving that line commented out?

Dan...
No, I had not yet tried it with the $BASE_DIR commented out...still didn't work when I did try that though... however, I had only tried it in my host's cgi-bin, both as .cgi and as .pl, but, after trying it as .cgi in a non cgi-bin directory, it now works fine...again, thanks for the guidance...if I now get this guy working like I've seen it work on another web site, I'll be thrilled (and send in the license fee, of course)

Also, a couple of questions about this forum...where will I find an explanation of the Message Icons...and how do I show this forum entry as closed?...does the forum moderator do that?...are you the moderator?...I see your name on many of the entries...

Thanks again...Jack M

Glad to hear it.

** where will I find an explanation of the Message Icons **

I have no idea but I think most are self explanatory

** how do I show this forum entry as closed?...does the forum moderator do that? **

I believe so.

** are you the moderator? **

No, just a visitor.

** I see your name on many of the entries **

I try to be helpful.
