I am trying to load this calendar script.  Following the directions I typed in the neccessary info on the command prompt but keep getting the same;

"install.bat not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

Any suggestions?  Can I just use my usual FTP program to loaad the files or do I have to use the install.bat?

Thanks,

Yes. Just make sure they're transferred in ascii model and that your FTP program maintains the directory structure.

In all the installations I've done using FTP, I only needed to chmod the calendar.pl, calendar_admin.pl and debug.pl files (when even that was necessary).

JFYI

What exactly do you mean when you state make sure the FTP maintains your file structure. Are you talking about permissions?

Don't I upload all files in to my CGI bin on the server?

Thanks again,

When you unzip the files locally, they will get put into a bunch of different directories (folders) which branch off from the /calendarscript/ one. That directory structure must be preserved on the server.

AFAIK, that is the default operation of most FTP clients.
