I like your product...but if I use it can the events for the latest week appear on the main page of my site (basically in addition to the calendar I want the weeks events to appear on the index page of my web site) automatically based on what is on the calendar.

That is what the SSI template is for, your main page would then have to be an SSI parsed one.
