I've been using CalendarScript for about 2 years on other websites that I've had. This is the first time that I've used phpnuke for a site.

I have the script running on my site now, but when you click on one of the links within CalendarScript, it opens in a full page by itself ( within the cgi-bin ) and not in phpnuke.

I was wondering if there was a way of keeping everything within phpnuke??

No. The best you could do is edit the CalendarScript templates to make them look like the rest of the site's pages.

** No. **

Well that's not exactly correct, it may be possible but not without a lot of work.

Basically what you'd have to do (if even possible in PHPNuke) would be create a page which captures the URL query string, passes it to the CalendarScript URL, then reads CalendarScript's output and displays it within itself.

I really have no idea what would happen to the cookies CalendarScript uses to keep track of users (they'd probably just get lost) nor what would happen using the administration section inside PHPNuke.

 http://tfc.my-ip.ca

I have it listed as Event Calendar.

The cookie would be incorporated into the cookie that I already have for my site so nothing would happen with it.

I know that there's other calendars that I could get that would work with phpnuke, but, prefer to stay away from those. I really like the feel of CalendarScript though.

That's easier said than done.

You'd then also have to get PHPNuke to capture the cookie data CalendarScript generates so it can be rewritten into your site's cookie. It wouldn't be done automatically when displaying CalendarScript inside a PHP page

Have you considered just displaying the calendar in a frame or iframe? It would be much simpler.

Never thought about it, but now that you mention it, I'll give it a try. Should work and do what I want it to.

Thanks.

EDIT:

Frame didn't work, but the iframe did.

Thanks for your help
