Hello All,

I'm trying to install CalendarScript but I can't get past 'press any key to continue'on the first DOS screen I see after I open install.bat. If I press it once in drops a line and then does nothing. If I press continue again I'm errored 'DOS program terminated' and have to quit the screen. I'm not proficient in DOS so trying to install this way has been a terrificly tedious process. I think I have the four parameters figured out. Now I'm afaid to put them all together for the DOS command. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated. FYI I'm running Windows 98SE.

Once you have the files unzipped locally, just FTP the files to the web server in ascii mode maintaining directory structure. Chmod the calendar.pl and the calendar_admin.pl (and debug.pl) files appropriately for your server (usually 755) then try running the administration script.

Thanks for the reply, I can figure out the first sentence no problem. But CHMODding the .pls is going to take me some time because I have no clue what that means.

Okay, I'm learning as I go along. I FTP'd the files to my server. I CHMOD'd the three files mentioned. (google found me a tutorial on how to do) Now running the administration script is new to me. What next.
