I would like to have one main calendar with categories like youth,teen.... so I can then just pull these events into their own upcoming events page via a automatic filter and SSI. Is this possible? I would also like to modify the default SSI.html so the output would like like this:
          Sun, Oct. 30
          Event Title
          Time
          Description

Instead of the current tree column table design:
Day | Time |Event Title

Thank you.

I'm sure it is.

Go for it!

** Instead of the current tree column table design: Day | Time |Event Title **

That's not the way the default ssi.html template displays them. It displays them like:

Date
Time |Event Title
Time |Event Title
Time |Event Title

Date
Time |Event Title
Time |Event Title
Time |Event Title

JFYI

You are right. I forgot that I had modified it. If I put the original ssi.html back I get an error message that the prefernces.pl could not be found. It's been a long time since I modified it and I don't remember what I did or what I need to do to get the pop up links on the Event Title and add the start time for the original ssi.html.

Sounds like you may be using a newer ssi.html template with an older version of CalendarScript that uses the styles.pl file instead of the prefernces.pl?

If you are not using CS version 3.21, you should upgrade due to security concerns!

** what I need to do to get the pop up links on the Event Title **

Maybe the "Popup Description" hack from the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site or the "Using pop-ups with default template" from the 'Links' section of that site?

I just thought of something else; The prefernces.pl file isn't used with the SSI template, just the default template so I don't know why you'd be getting such an error message when using the original ssi.html file.

Sorry.
