** However there is a file missing in the plugin zip file.  It is cs_reminders. pl.  **

I don't see that file mentioned in that plug-in's documentation (index.htm):

Quote
Package
csremind105.zip

contents:
csremind/ [main folder]
  /command_list.txt [file for calendarscript]
  /command_save_csrconf.pl [plug-in]
/csrconfirm.html [template used for the confirmation dialog]
/csrinput.html [template used for the input dialog]
/csremind_setup.html [template used for Admin Control Panel]
  /csr_config.txt [configuration file]
/csr_run.pl [main script to send out reminders (use cron on this). This file is separately configured]
  /csr_ver.txt [CSR version file ]
/csvc.pl [script that generates the vcal file]
/default.html (a modified version of the default calendar template that includes the $datestring modifications- see step 1 of the instructions)
  /display_after_getEvent.pl [plug-in]
  /index.htm [this page]
  /permissions_list.txt [file for calendarscript]
  /readme.txt [info file for calendarscript]
/data/ [folder where reminder data file is stored]

By looking at the script's code, that file looks to be created if it doesn't already exist.

I don't use the plug-in myself however.

Your right about the file being created.
I did some testing and the script appears to be working when I am in debug mode. Before I take it out of debug mode there is a couple of changes I would like to attempt.

I would like to edit what is in the e-mail notification to enduser. I looked through files and could not see where the e-mail text is generated.

Also, there is a problem when the e-mail is generated for an event that has html. The e-mail sent has all the html tags. Wonder if anyone figured out how to make it work properly. Probably some kind of MIME issue.

It's got to be there somewhere. I'm afraid i do not know for myself where it is found since i do not use that plugin. All I can suggest is have another look, maybe for just portions of the sent message and not the whole message in one block?

BTW. A good program for search for and optionally replacing text in multiple files in one shot can be found at the following link:

Not that I recall but try searching the forums. I know sending HTML emails have caused problems in other Perl scripts I've been involved with. I don't recall a specific solution though.
