I have searched through the forum and can't find an answer to my question.   I want to add a field that contains a pdf.   If the user views the event and there is additional information in the pdf, i. e registration or order form, they can laund adobe and view or print it.

I am not adept at scripts etc so need to walked thru this.

I want to add a field that contains a pdf.

You can do that the way you would add any other event field but I'm not sure it would be linked when displayed. You can try it and see.

The script will automatically link any URL containing http://... when posted as part of the description field (possibly the other fields as well) if you set the calendar options appropriately.

Administration Main Menu -> Calendar Settings -> Auto-link:  (x) Yes  ( )  No

JFYI

I'm not sure [if a new field] would be linked when displayed.

The 'Auto-link' option appears to work on all event fields so if you turn that option ON, a new field you create for the .PDF URL should get linked on the Event Details page... as long as users include the http://... when entering that URL.
