I have encountered errors when trying to add/edit events to multiple calendars. New events post accurately to the default calendar - no problems at all.

However, when attempting to add /edit events to a lower level calendar (have 8 others) all dates default to the current month. When selecting from the drop down calendars the entries look like 02/53/2003 (Australian Date format = dd/mm/yyyy)It makes no difference whether dates are manually entered or selected from drop calendar.

Can anyone explain why this is so, and what can be done to overcome it?

A bit of a newbie here, so any help gratefully received.

How are you going about adding events to multiple calendars? I'm not familiar with that feature of CalendarScript.

I have created a set of multiple calendars (see www.lcmdoe.vic.edu.au/calendar)  and using a drop down list mod to enable users to select from one of eight calendars.

The problem is that when I try to add a date in any calendar other than the default calendar, the error as descibed above appears.

Selecting a date from the pop-up (eg 28 Feb 03)results  in a date appearing like 28/53/2003. Regardless, the new event appears only in the current month. Remember, I'm using the Australian date format of dd/mm/yyyy.

If I type a date directly, rather than using the pop-up, it still defaults to the current month.

Any ideas???

So let me get this straight. A user goes to a calendar other than the default and tries to add an event in the normal way. However the dates are screwed up and it will only be posted to the current month?

What day of the current month?

JFYI. I only get an error at that link that says "Directory Listing Denied". If I try www.lcmdoe.vic.edu.au/calendar.pl   I get "HTTP 403.1 Forbidden: Execute Access Forbidden. Internet Information Services".

That's right.

User logs in with username/password with permission to add event to a specific calendar. When entering a new event, if the date is selected from the popup, its gets scrambled in the date entry box to something like 03/37/2003 (dd/mm/yyyy) and the entry defaults to the specific day but current month.

Even if new event is posted by typing new date entry (rather than popup) it still defaults back to specific day but current month.

All works fine on the default calendar. This only occurs on lower level calendars.

Did you check to make sure those other calendars have their dates set to the Australian format too?

What happens when you set one to the US (or other) format?

I can't really do much without actually seeing it in action. Can you make another testing calendar and give the Anonymous user permission to post to it so we can try it out?

Thanks for prompt reply. Sorry about URL, was early Monday AM for me...fingers not yet awake.

I think I have found the answer to the problem. In calendar settings, I had date set for dd/mm/yyyy. After re-visiting I changed to dd/MM/yyyy. Only change was CAPS for month. This seems to have worked and now dates post correctly, in the appropriate month.

I have created a TEST calendar as requested with add/edit/approve for Anonymous User, with the lowercase month setting, so you can take a look at the way the error occurs.

There are a series of dates I have added all appearing in March. BUT, each set of three should actually be on subsequent months.

2/3/4 for March are correct
13/14/15 were posted to April
18/19/20 were posted to May
22/23/24 were posted to June

Not sure if this is how the problem occured or not but here is how I set up originally. I created new calendars by duplicating from a base calendar template. The original date settings were for dd/MM/yyyy but after duplication they became dd/mm/yyyy.
