When ever I try to enter a date field I receive an error which states Date required to be in format 'undefined'

anyone have any suggestion on where this format is defined?

So, what files were in the wrong place?  I've uploaded with the same structure in which the files unzipped.  But I'm still getting the message that you got.  Could you help me out here?

I didn't put the calendarscript folder inside the cgi-bin folder, but mistakenly copied the contents of this folder to the cgi-bin folder.

So, once one unzip/untars you should move calendar.pl, calendar_admin.pl and the calendarscript folder inside the cgi-bin.

Somewhere along the line the files are not stored in the correct place.

Thanks for the info, but the files seem to be in the right place.  I've run the debugger and keep getting a message saying cgi-bin/calendarscript/lib was not transferred in ASCII mode.  I've removed it, re-transferred it with both WS-FTP and also by command line ftp and still get that message even though I specifically used ASCII mode with both methods.  Any ideas on this?

I use ncFTP from the Mac OS X command line to transfer the files and forced ASCII mode transfer.

I don't think I can help.

I think you need help from someone using the same software.

OK, I've tried everything I can find in the forum and still can't seem to get past the "date as undefined" problem when trying to enter a new event.

I've re-transferred and "chmod"ed files.  When I try to manually enter a date I get the "Invalid Date format(s) in date field. Dates must be in the format 'undefined'."  When I try to click on the button to bring the calendar up so I can choose a date, I get a message saying "error on page".

Does anyone have any ideas for this problem?

All help is appreciated in advance.

Did you change your date display option? If so, what did you change it to? Can you provide an example URL?

Although this may not be the problem, I found that my pop-up/browser helper stopper created this same message.  All I did was shut it off and it was fixed.
