I'm noticing a small quirk.  was wondering if anybody knew of a way to fix it.

When adding/modifying the event schedule,
if I use the date fields to manually enter a date, and submit It works correctly and creates the appropriate event in grid.

but if I try to re-edit that event, the date that is being displayed in the fields is not the correct date.
stuff like  50-04-05  or 05-86-05.

This also happens if i use the date pickers to choose a date.

The correct date is picked (in GRID VIEW & in PICKER)
but the date that is displayed in the calendar start and stop date fields is not!?Huh???

Thoughts anybody?Huh?

Sounds like a problem in the way your browser is handling the JavaScript on the page.

Which browser are you using and which operating system is the browser (not the calendar) running on?

Have you tried any other browser(s) to see how the calendar functions with them??

Hey Dan....

Just got to say your team is running an incredible system here...and the support is amazing!

Anyway.

These are the specs on my system

PowerBook G4
OSX  10.3.8 (darwin kernel)
Server:
Apache 1.3

Weblets:
Perl 5.8.1
Entropy PHP 5.0.4
Mysql 4.1.9

Browser:
Firefox 1.0.2    no additional mods to firefox,

Plugs being used in calendar
(dayspan, autoregister, redirector, emailnotify2, csrnotify)

IE seems to work fine, but all other browsers I've tried don't
netscape
mach0
operah
mozilla
Firefox

I was wondering if there maybe an offset for the month?Huh?
cause day and year seem to come through okay after I upgraded firefox from 1.0.1  to 1.0.2
but now month is out by random amounts.. even though it shows up in the grid just fine.

sorry I don't have a live Calendar up for you to see....
still in dev mode.

pps... I've blasted mozilla about this as well,  It show up perfectly in the Dom inspector, but not on page.

Sorry but the date picker works Ok for me using Firefox 0.9.3 on WindowsXP, IE 5.01 - 6 and even Netscape 3.20 on Win98! It might be something in the Mac release of Firefox?

When you get it in the open, I'll be happy to try it with what browsers I have.

** would you know how I would go about hiding those fields **

I'm afraid I don't.

** script to remove all events  **

There is a plug-in you can try titled "DeleteOld" at the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site.

I saw it, but I wouldn't want just old events to be removed... but all of them.

you know how I would go about customizing it to smoke out all dates?

sorry (just starting to learn perl through osmosis)

** I wouldn't want just old events to be removed... but all of them. **

I didn't read that it said it would only delete "old" events:

quote:
...you can choose which calendars you want to delete from (all of them at once if you like) and then a date. The plugin will delete all events that ended before the date you have provided.

If you just wat to delete everything, I think just replacing the events.txt and schedule.txt file might be easier but you might want to try some of these plug-ins out before you get you calendar fully engaged to see what they can do??
