Hi-

I have created a user who has the permission to add users, but I don't want him to have the permission to go to the edit users screen and be able to delete people or otherwise mess with them.   So what I think I need is a way to have any user this person creates have a default set of permissions like view calendar, add event, edit own events.

How can I make a set of default permissions like this?

I searched for thisin the forums and looked in the doc, but can't find an answer.   I must be dumb, because someone else must have needed it.

Try looking at the Auto Registration plug-in available from the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site web site. You might be able to modify it to only be available on the administration menu for certain users.
