Hi,

I am trying to clean up my calendar and have downloaded the DeleteOld Plugin but I can't seem to get it to work.  When I open the delete_old.html file I get a message that says "errors on page".

I am thinking that I have the plug-in in the wrong place.  I have read the documentation and placed the .zip file in the Plugins file.  When that didn't work, I unzipped the file and sent it to the Plugins file.  I still get the "errors on page" message.

Help, please!

I forgot to mention that the DeleteOld plugin is enabled in the Manage Plugins part of the calendar administration.

** When I open the delete_old.html file **

How *exactly* are you doing that?

** I get a message that says "errors on page".  **

An error were? Written in the text of the page code or maybe in a popup browser message box??

What *exactly* does the error say??

I open the file with an IE browser.

The error message appears on the bottom left corner of the status bar in IE.

When I click on show details it says:

line: 38
char: 2
Error:  syntax error
Code: 0

Okay... I found out what I was doing wrong.  I didn't realize that I had to go to events in the administrator section of the calendarscript to fun the file.

Should I have been able to find that information somewhere?

Thanks for getting back to me.

All templates have to be run through CalendarScript and in the case of administration templates, there will usually be a link to them from the Administration section's main menu.

BTW. If you plan on deleting a lot of events, you might want to read this previous message, "Can't Get Delete Old Plug-In Working".
