I'd like to include the Add Event table beneath the calendar, like on this site:
http://207.159.150.180/cgi-bin/calendar/calendar.pl

After digging around in the forum for a while, I haven't found any posts on this. Anyone have an idea how I might do this? (I've posted to the site's webmaster with no reply)

Keep in mind that I"m a total PHP newbie, so the most basic instructions will be best.

You would have to edit the template that you use to display your calendar and add the add form code where you want it.

The add_edit_event.html file in the templates -> admin directory of your CalendarScript installation would be a good place to start to see how the add form is coded.

Of course, you could ask the owner of the site you linked to if he would give you a copy of his modified template or allow you to use the add form code from his page.

They appear to be using an older version (< 3.0) of CalendarScript in which case the template they're using will not likely work with a current 3.0+ version of CalendarScript.

odd that no one else has wanted this for 3.2 and posted a hack or a plugin or something.

guess i'll have to start digging thru the code myself then. at this point, anything could happen. wish me luck
