We've been happily using CalendarScript for a while now, but have been having problems in updating the calendar.   When we go to edit events, we get a page saying "Service Unavailable".  What do we need to do?  There's also a strange message showing up in the login page.   Thank you for your help.

** we get a page saying "Service Unavailable" **

That should have nothing to do with CalendarScript itself.  Check with your host's support as it has to be a server problem.

** There's also a strange message showing up in the login page.  **

If you want any kind of help with that you'll have to tell us *exactly* what the "strange message" is.

The message that shows up on the login page is as follows:
Error requiring custom function file '\\atl. hosting. int\storage\IPSWX0019ATL2\user1010714\www/fpdb/calendarscript/plugins/csxport/display_after_getInput. pl'.  The error is: [Can't locate \atl. hosting. intstorageIPSWX0019ATL2Ser1010714www/fpdb/calendarscript/plugins/csxport/display_after_getInput. pl in @INC (@INC contains: \\atl. hosting. int\storage\IPSWX0019ATL2\user1010714\www/fpdb/calendarscript/lib C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib . ) at (eval 2) line 1.  ]

** Can't locate \atl.  hosting.  intstorageIPSWX0019ATL2Ser1010714www/fpdb/calendarscript/plugins/csxport/display_after_getInput. pl **

Is that exactly what it said? If so, you'll notice that the part "intstorageIPSWX0019ATL2Ser1010714www" is incorrect.  It's missing a bunch of "/" characters.

Did you manually enter a path for the $BASE_DIR variable in the scripts?

If so, it could be incorrect.  If you entered a path yourself, it can not contain "\" characters.  They'll either have to be escaped (changed to "\\") or changed to "/" (which would be the preferred method).
