There was an error in your template file. Below is the template file and also the perl code generated from it to help you with debugging.

** This has Worked find for months, ?? **

Is that a question?

** whats wrong ? **

I'm afraid I have no idea. Maybe the template file has become corrupted?

I have also noticed that many of the files are set to 777, does that not mean that if anyone knows the product, they can get directly to the path from a browser and change settings?. i have resolved the issue of the Template error i just installed the old template back but i have noticed that it was accessed at a certain time that we do not work and the certain 777 files were changed?... now i just need to find the template i made somewhere. but can you help me make this more secure pls?

If the template has been corrupted, yes.

Only the files that end in .pl (or .cgi) would likely need to be chmod to 755 (or on some servers 775). All the rest should at the most need permissions of 666 but 644 would likely do as well.

You can also change the permissions of the whole /calendarscript/ directory to not allow any access and that way no one can even read any of the files there.

BTW. What CalendarScript version are you using? If not 3.21, I strongly suggest you upgrade!

In the administration section click the "Feedback/Support" link. The last item is the version number with a button to check if newer updates are available.
