In the demo when I typed in the info on the event in the description, when I pressed enter it did not have any effect.  The description just ran on an on without new lines for
Who
What
Where
Etc.

Instead it was Who What Where Etc.

I there any way to do that beside literally putting in <b> ?
<b>
And I am not even sure if this form will accept the enter!

The text is displayed in an HTML page, where line breaks are ignored. If you want the text to be displayed exactly as-is, either turn on HTML and enter the <br> tags, or edit the templates to put a <pre> around where the text is displayed, so formatting is retained.

** I can't find either of these options... could you please be more specific. **

Turning on HTML is done in the Calendar Administration > Calendar Settings by selecting Allow HTML: (o)Yes ( ) No.

The rest (ie. entering the needed HTML formatting tags) is up to you.

IF you are so inclined, the script can be modified to automatically add line breaks. You can find a couple of previous forum messages that discuss that topic in the 'Links' section of the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site' under "Event display mods".

For some reason the code change doesn't work at all for me...
the first one given makes it appear like

T
H
I
S

and the next one (that works) does nothing....I enabled html, I deleted and saved a new event.

Nothing...could you help?

I'm afraid I have never used any of them. Maybe someone else which has will offer a suggestion?
