Greetings folks!

Been banging my head on the desk long enough, so here I am.   I have created a number of custom event fields. Is there a way to get them to show up on the main calendar display along with the event title?  So far, I can only view them in the description.

Thanks a ton!

You would have to edit the default.html template file and add code to display them there.

Thanks for the tip.  Unfortunately, I am using multiple calendars - all using the default template - each with their own custom fields.  If I change the default.html file, won't that affect all my calendars?

So... I thought to make a new template for each calendar and change the default.html there.  Problem is I can't get that right either! Admittedly, I am not strong with asp (I'm a graphic designer for goodness sake - muddling thru code as best I can), and there doesn't seem to be a "save as new template" option within the calendarscript program.

Time is also an issue.  My client is in a bit of a hurry.  Can anyone help?  I could use either detailed advice or a sub-contactor!

Thanks all!

Yes... if they're all using the same templates. Unless you make those fields print conditionally dependant on the calendar being viewed. Bit of a pain IMO.

** new template for each calendar ... Problem is I can't get that right either! **

I believe you can define different templates to each calendar being displayed. I don't know what you're problem may be.

Thanks friend!

Problem with defining different templates is that there are only three choices, default, oldstyle and simple.  I am using default, and oldstyle and simple do not have the customization options that default does.  Cannot see that there is are "save as" or "duplicate" type options for the default template.

Any ideas?

I don't know that there is such a function but even if not, it should be pretty simple to get around though:

1. download the contents of the default template directory (or use the ones on your local computer from the unzipped application)

2. make a new template directory on the server

3. re-upload those template files to the newly created directory.

You should then be able to alter those templates as you choose without effecting the others. Once they look the way you want (or before), set the calendar in question to use the new templates.

JFYI
