Is there any way to disable event_detail_popup.html?

I don't want to use pop-ups.

You can disable them by just not adding the JavaScript code and not modifying the links as instructed in the installation file but unfortunately users will no longer be able to see events which were posted on the other calendars.

The only way to see events which are on other calendars is using the popup or else a lot of extra coding would have to be done to the template as mentioned in my last reply in the previous forum  message "Small mod re DoubleCal plugin".

Are the popups causing some problem?

Forget it. I redid all the templates and got the pop-ups working.
