i am also having a problem with events not showing up on the main calendar page but only when the date is clicked and the events page comes up are they shown.  I loaded the script onto a Apache/1.3.27 unix server and chmoded the calendarscript directory and contained files/directories to 744 .  I did not see that this problem was worked out in the previous thread except for mac  usere...

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean. Can you post a link to a page on the calendar which is exhibiting the phenomena (and maybe one which isn't)?

http://www.everdawn.com/cgi-bin/calendar/calendar.pl?calendar=default   The 29th of Feb is the day I added an event.  You cannot see that there is an event unless you click on the day which brings you to this page:  http://www.everdawn.com/cgi-bin/calendar/calendar.pl?calendar=default&selected_datestring=20040229&datestring=20040229&view=Day   .  I need the event to show up on the main page as well as it does on the calendarscript demo that is found on the calendarscript.com site

The reason you can't see that event on the calendar grid is that it's data is displayed in white text on a white cell background! Try highlighting the grid cell and you'll be able to see that the text is there.

You'll have to adjust your template colour choices before users are going to be see your calendar properly.
