Can you someone please help me with this situation of mine. I notice in the zip file that their is a text file called ftpscript.txt, upon further investagation i noticed it is basically a log file for a FTP Program. Can you please tell me what ftp program that you used to create it and how i can use it to change the chmods with it.

To me it looks more like an instruction file for the included install.bat file to use.

I'm afraid I have no idea how it was created, maybe Matt (CalendarScript's author) will drop by and let you know?

Well you can scratch that idea but it would be nice to have something to automate the FTP session. But anyways I did get it installed and works like a charm. I am going to change the template around a bit to match the site and also create a few for the users of CalendarScript if that is okay with the author of the software.

** it would be nice to have something to automate the FTP session. **

I've never had any problems uploading the script via FTP. Just unzip the files locally, upload them maintaining the directory structure and chmod the 3 .pl file. I've never needed to make any other changes on 5 different servers (both Unix and Windows) I've installed it on. I guess other servers may be different?

I'm sure it is, that's what open source software is all about. You can see some templates, plug-ins  and hacks which have been contributed at the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site.

JFYI
