Hi all,
We just upgraded calendarscript. We have a PHP hosting plan on godaddy and was wondering what we need to tell them to install the calendar.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

OK, I ran the install.bat script and it installed everything on the server.
However, now the software does not exist. I have no knowledge of configuring PHP, so where do I modify the BASE_DIR entry?
if I run the debug script, I get this:
http://www.bayviewevent.com/cgi/debug.pl

the installation path I gave was /cgi in the batch file.\
thanks

** now the software does not exist. **

What do you mean by that??

** I have no knowledge of configuring PHP **

That's too bad but that knowledge is not needed for CalendarScript as it is written in Perl.

** where do I modify the BASE_DIR entry? **

The $BASE_DIR variable is towards the top of the three files that have a file name extension of .pl.

BTW. You should probably search the forums for "godaddy" without the quotes) to read the other discussions of CS being hosted there.

Oops, in my hurry, I made a ton of mistakes!
I meant I get an "Internal Server Error"....
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I didnt mean PHP, I meant Linux, and I was under the impression that the paths were specified in some configuration file. The debug.pl file shows all these directory problems, and I was wondering how I could fix them.
Sorry for the confusion! - and thanks for your suggestion, I'll try modifying the files as you mentioned.

** I meant I get an "Internal Server Error".... **

That is just a general error notice saying the script failed to run... for whatever reason. Check the server's error logs to see if a more detailed error message was recorded.

** I was under the impression that the paths were specified in some configuration file. **

The $BASE_DIR variable needs to be set in each of the files... when required to be set at all. Did you set them???

** The debug.pl file shows all these directory problems **

And are they real directories on your server?
