Well, after much grief I have managed to install htmlarea v3.
However, I have a strange error happening which no one else has mentioned.

When going to the Add event page, all the General Config styles seemed to have disappeared (colour of background etc) and I get the following messages at the top and bottom of the screen.

Also, when editing a listing that has already been created, the htmlarea screen doesn't show the background colour but does keep teh text colour..this cause a problem as I am using white text on red background...so I don't see the text..It would seem that the editor should read the style sheets for CS but doesnt!

It looks like part of the path is being duplicated:

export/users/t/thebedford.co.uk/cgi-bin/calendarscript/templates/admin/English/calendarscript/templates/admin/English/styles.css

I'm afraid I have no idea what you would have done to cause that.
