"ie 6.0 vs netscape 7.1" while updating Calendar

I'm having problems adding a schedule (an entry in schedule.txt) when I use IE 6.0. An event id (events.txt) gets added without a problem.
However, Netscape does not have this problem. I can add both events and schedules using Netscape. (Of course, the event is created first and it's id is used to populate the schedule.)
That is, in IE, when I click the button after populating the dates, the schedule won't save, but rather, the next screen to appear is the login screen. What file (and line #) could I check?
Thanks,
Tim
