Great reply by the way. I do actually rate Matt's script most highly myself and was not alluding to any thought of absconding or even that others should.
But you miss my point!
Which is, that this section is to put forward new ideas for further developments etc. Or am I wrong about that?
Any research sources are invaluable for people to have a look at especially in relation to possible new features for CalendarScript. The above link is just one of many that could/should be here in so far as they might usefully ilustrate them.
However, I do admit that I did not explain the usefullness and relevance of that link in this regard and that my article was, at best, quite useless and perfunctory. I just imagined that people would have a look and immediately see some good ideas. I was wrong.
Incidentally, I am quite sure that Matt does a great deal of similar research and is not in the least bit paranoid that we will all abandon him if we dare to look around. Indeed, how much flattering that, having done so, we bring something useful back to contribute and stick with it.
My own research archives are extensive and include all of the best products around. They are each unique and I often find inspiration from any one concerning some feature or other that is truly excellent.
Now, to contribute an idea that would be immensely useful for me and possibly many other people; it would be great if CalendarScript integrated with PostNuke-Phoenix-0.7.2.3 and also phpBB2. There are existing solutions and a new module, PNphpBB2 to integrate the BB is now available. But users there would love Matt's script if it also integrated and that would provide a whole new market for him.
However, most mod contributions are Open Source as is PN! lol
Great script Matt!
