I got the files putonto my web server via the install.bat file, however i'm still getting an "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."  I ran the debug.pl and it came back saying a bunch of the files were not located.

in the editing of the .pl files, for the base dir should it be my domain/cgi/calendarscript or something else?

This is my first time working with cgi so i could use a little advise
Thanks

My server is on Linux OS
using both mozilla firefox and IE
I don't have access to my servers error log due to my hosting service being shared with other clients
i changed the $base_dir manually i set it as /cgi/calendarscript/
i've tried to get assistance from my web host, but they're unable to help me with 3rd party cgi script
debug.pl shows that many files don't exist as well as directories
i've checked through the documentation but unable to find a solution..

Thanks for the assist

** for the base dir should it be my domain/cgi/calendarscript **

You'd have to ask your host  or check their CGI FAQ's. There's no way for anyone here to know your server's file structure.

** I ran the debug.pl and it came back saying a bunch of the files were not located. **

Did you check to see if they actually were or not?? If they weren't, there's no way the script is going to work.

** I got the files put onto my web server via the install.bat file, however i'm still getting an "Internal Server Error **

Still? You mean you were before too???

** I don't have access to my servers error log due to my hosting service being shared with other clients **

So is the web space for all my web sites but I still have access to their error logs. Even if you don't have access, you host's support would. Ask them to tell you what the error logs show.

i tried putting the files onto my server by way of ws_ftp pro,  and it didn't work, i erased the files, off the server and tried the install.bat and didn't work.

The files are located in the directories.

This is getting a bit nerve wrecking have been trying this now for two days

Than you'll have to ask your host or check their CGI FAQ's for what the path to your web space is and try setting the $base_dir variable.
