I have the calendar up and running on a site and it is great.  Now the bug has bitten, I want to try out plugins and various templates.  Only thing, I am not courageous enough to do it on line and on the site that is working.  How can I set up calendar to work on a PC I have that is set up to be a server running XP?  I do have access to the PC/server via the net.  What do I have to do to make calendar run where I can have a "crash and burn" copy and learn how to enhance it.
Thanks in advance for the help.

You'll need Perl installed and usually web server software. I don't know if Windows XP has either of those out of the box. Check with a Windows XP support forum.
