What I want is to add a field in the Add an event page that if selected to appear for the event would link to another page in the view event page. So when they view this event if they want more information they can click the link. Every event that this option would be active for would link to the same page. I know that it could be manually added to the description but my customer doesn't know anything about coding so if it were an option to turn off or on it would be perfect.
Thanks

** What I want is to add a field that if selected would [display a] link to another page in the view event page. **

The only way I can think to achieve that would be to manually edit the Event View portion of the template. You can get the gist of what would need to be done in the previous forum message: Break apart event title and description.

Of course you'd have to change the "title" portion of the conditional in sample code to relate to your new field and change the bolding HTML code to whatever code you wanted displayed upon the conditional test.

JFYI
