Has anyone found a solution to the login loop yet? I have been using calendarscript for a bit over a year and a half on a server of my own (Red Hat Linux) and it just stopped working and started going "loopy" (aka login loop). I have multiple computers that I have tested this on. I haven't changed a thing on the server, tried accessing the pages via the IP, ran the debug and passed with flying colors, and my whole calendar directory has the correct permissions. I am at a complete loss at this point. Like I said I haven't made any changes to the server nor the calendar. I even decided to try and reinstall and the problem persists on a fresh install with no data except the default information. Any help would be great!

I have exactly the same problem. I try to log in as user or admin, I get the calendar selection page, select, click on next or ok or what it is and I'm thrown back into the log in screen!
I can't find any way to log into the admin pages at all, and it's not making me or anybody else happy.

Might there be a problem with server software updates? I don't run that thing and have no control over updates, though I'd most likely do all of those myself anyways.

I'd really like to find a sollution for this, otherwise this whole script will be worthless to me. Installing something else would cost me quite some time and therewith cash.....

Anyone? Any ideas? This MUST be solvable.....

Well I feel sheepish!  I found the problem....I have been running backups on my server and lo and behold...I used up all the disk space causing the login loop!  Well we can add that to the list of causes of the login loop...Hey better than what it did to my other apps on the server!

have you verified that you have cookies enabled in your browser? (i know that this may seem too elementary but having cookies turned off, is a sure way to get caught in the log-in loop.)

I just installed CalendarScript 3.2.1 to replace my 3.2 calendar to avoid security issues. Before I upload it to my site, I test on my Apache WebServer on my G4 Mac.

I was also having a problem with an Admin login loop. I was trying to access calendar_admin.pl via the "Login" link on my calendar for the first time with this new install. Wouldn't work. Kept asking me to change my password even though I had.

The solution to the problem was not to try and access the calendar_admin.pl via the calendar.pl link on the first go around. I simply pasted in the url to my calendar_admin.pl and hit return. I was presented with a setup wizard that walked me through the login process. Worked like a charm.

Don't know if this will help with your particular loop problems, but it worked for me.
