I used this script years ago and re-discovered it when a client wanted a calendar on their website with several options.

Installation was quick and easy, I modified my administration page with new colors and text through the admin interface.

Then I tried to modify the calendar background colors and text in the same way, by clicking on the main menu and looking for a calendar template interface.

After I selected Template Display Preferences and received a message saying "There are no display options for this template set!"

Somehow I thought I could change the look and feel of the calendar in the same type of interface that the Admin page changed.

What am I missing?

Did you change the templates which the calendar is using? If you switched to the OldStyle templates, they are not supported as well as the "default" calendar templates are.

Dan,

Thanks for the quick response. I worked on this for a couple hours, and never could find a way to get the template preferences to come up, no matter which calendar I tried.

I finally wiped out the prior installation, recopied the files back into the cgi-bin directory and it worked fine.

I have no idea what I did incorrectly the first time, but am glad I finally have it running.

A question - I found the following version of the calendar at http://www.wisconsincooks.org/calendar.cgi.  How did they add the additonal tips on the left side column?

I imagine they edited the default.html template file and added them.
