Dan,
Your scripts are good, Your support even better, Your instructions? Although the time and very understandably takes awhile to get answeres back on this forum. (It could be my fault for posting in the wrong section   . Looking through all the questions and very many answers you have given I respectfully suggest you take a few minutes and add some of this information to you instructions. It might save everyone a good deal of time. ;-)_

The fact is I've been working on this all day and it should really only take a few min.

I have followed the instructions, created the sub-directory as noted in the CGI-Bin/Calendarscript/Split_Rcurring, FTP'ed the files in ascii mode. The only thing I can think of that may not be set correctly is the chmod. Am I to assume that all files are to be set at 777 as noted the the Calendar Script instructions?

After many tries I'm still not seeing your script in the Manage Plug In area? And the script does not work to break reoccouring events.

Your help would be greatful and suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Russ

** created the sub-directory as noted in the CGI-Bin/Calendarscript/Split_Rcurring, **

** I have followed the instructions **

Maybe not. From the Split Recurring Event plug-in's installation instructions:

quote:
Make a new directory in the calendarscript/plugins directory...
Which would be:

.../calendarscript/plugins/New_Directory_Here

**  Am I to assume that all files are to be set at 777 as noted the the Calendar Script instructions? **

Permissions for plug-in files do not usually matter. They are not called/accessed directly, the script calls them itself.

** After many tries I'm still not seeing your script in the Manage Plug In area? **

Until it's installed in the right place, it won't.

** And the script does not work to break reoccouring events. **

Until it's installed in the right place and activated in the administration section, it won't.

Try uploading the files to the correct location in the calendarscript (note all LOWER case) directory and seeing what happens.

Dan O.

O.k. you kicked me in the butt. But after all I spent most of my night tracking down the high end of a group that is unloading 3 to 4, 10,000 gal. road tankers of high grade deisel fule. (a day!) at any days price that's a big deal. So they want to pay me off...what would you do?

90 seconds to make it work!

Yeee Ha! "ENTER HERE"

Tks

So you're saying you got the plug-in to work?
