I am using the Meta calendar plugin and love it, but I have a question.
I have my Meta Calendar set as the Default calendar so when you go to my calendar at http://"website.com"/cgi-bin/CALENDAR/calendar.pl  it pulls it up.  However, it requires you to login to view it.  Is there a way to remove the login required so that the calendar.pl will show my default calendar without logging in?

Thanks.

The Meta Calendar does not require users to log in. If your calendar does, than that's the way you've set its options. Just change them for that calendar.

BTW. I'm glad to hear you find my plug-in useful.

I do not have the option selected in the Calendar Settings that requires a login.  I am able to see a blank calendar.  If you have the require login bulleted as "yes" then you cannot view a calendar without logging in.  The Meta Calendar comes up Blank and if you click login and login then it populates with data.
This is the Basic 3.2 install with the Meta Calendar plugin, printable calendar feature, and the calendar select drop down from the main view.  Nothing else has been tweaked by me.
Any ideas?

** I am able to see a blank calendar. **

Do you mean a calendar without any events on it or a totally blank screen?

The Meta Calendar Plug-in will only display those events which the current user has permissions to view. If they doesn't have permissions to view any events without logging in, then they won't see any events on the Meta Calendar.

If you set any of the other calendars to allow "anonymous" users the ability to view that calendar's events, they will be shown on the Meta Calendar view for "anonymous" users (ones which haven't logged in).

If your calendar is acting other than that, you'll have to post its URL and we'll probably need administration access to see what's going on.

Ah hah.  That was my problem.  My Anonymous user did not have "view" rights to the other calendars so the Meta calendar was showing empty.

Thank A lot Dan.

Glad to hear it. If you find the plug-in useful and continue to use it, maybe you'll consider making a donation to the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site for the work put into it?
