I need to have several pages not archived by robots.

Can I put a "meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOARCHIVE"" statement on default.html?

Would it need to be on any other html pages? For example, when I click on an event to get details, or do a search?

Sure.

Depending on the templates you are using, all pages are usually derived from the default.html template file in which case adding such a tag to it will add them to all regular (non-administration) pages.
