I am trying to use the MetaCalendar plugin and I'm really excited about how it will help with the church website.  I have carefully followed the installation instructions.  I have made the changes to default.html and uploaded them.  I went under Calendar Options and had the new menu option “Meta Calendar” and I chose a calendar with the key “default” that I titled “All Events” to be the metacalendar.  Here are the two problems I am having:

1) No events from the other three calendars are showing on the meta calendar (“All Events”).
2) There is an error on the Login screen: Error requiring custom function file 'D:\Webserver\downtownchurch.org\www\calendarfiles\/calendarscript/plugins/MetaCalendar/display_after_getInput.pl'. The error is: [Can't locate D:Webserverdowntownchurch.orgwwwlendarfiles/calendarscript/plugins/MetaCalendar/display_after_getInput.pl in @INC (@INC contains: D:\Webserver\downtownchurch.org\www\calendarfiles\/calendarscript/lib C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib .) at (eval 1) line 1. ]

You can view my calendar at http://64.37.124.168/calendarfiles/calendar.pl  (It is a testing site, I haven’t pointed our domain name at that server yet).  I don’t mind if you want to login as “Administrator” with password “serveHim” if you need to check settings or anything. I can change the password when you are done. You should see a couple of events at the end of May and the beginning of June from the other calendars.  I am using CalendarScript 3.2.1, I just downloaded last week.  My hosting server is Windows NT.

I would appreciate any help you can give me to get this working.  Thanks!!

** Can't locate D:Webserverdowntownchurch.orgwwwlendarfiles/calendarscript/plugins/MetaCalendar/display_after_getInput.pl **

Well the bolded section of the above definitely not correct. It looks like a bunch of \'s have been stripped from the path. I have no idea what would cause that and just for the plug-in file(s) but you can try setting the $BASE_DIR variable in the calendar.pl and calendar_admin.pl files to a proper path for use in Perl as described in your other forum message "EmailNotify sendmail problem" (with forward slashes instead of backslashes).

Other than that all I can suggest is you move the site to a host using a non-Windows based server to avoid such problems.

Maybe someone that is more familiar with Windows? systems will drop by and offer advice if the above doesn't help?

I tried setting the $BASE_DIR in calendar.pl and calendar_admin.pl, but then I couldn't get the calendars at all, just a blank browser window.  The error message also mentions @INC is set to that incorrect path.  Where does it set that variable?

I GOT IT!  I played around with the $BASE_DIR a little more and got it to work.  The MetaCalendar now shows the events from all my calendars and I don't get the error messages any more.

Thanks!
