I need to add a disclaimer to the bottom of my default calendar but I don't see an optoion for it in calendar admin. I not familure with pearl or writing code so any help would be appreciated.

Did you try using the field under:

Calendar Administration > Template Preferences > Footer:
Any text or HTML to display below everything else in the calendar display

Yes,
Problem 1. It doesn't appear until the page is printed.
Problem 2. I need more space.

I don't know what you mean by that. Whatever text is entered should be visible whenever the calendar is.

You can read about changing the header field length in the previous forum message "How to make fields longer". It should basically be applicable to the footer field as well.
