Is there a template for the event view? I looked into default.html, but that seems to be only the calendar itself.

** Is there a template for the event view? **

It depends on which templates you've chosen to use with the calendar. If you're still using the 'default' templates, it is contained within the default.html template.

Here is the url to the page in question:
http://alleghenytrails.org/cgi-bin/calendar.cgi?calendar=ATHC&view=Event&event_id=4

or
http://tinyurl.com/qrgmu

I want to modify the area where the Title and Description lines are.

That looks like the regular default template in which case the default.html template file contains the code to display the event details... as well as all the Grid and List views and search results.

See the message titled "Break apart event title and description" in the 'Links' section of the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site.
