I searched the archives, but was unable to find this particular issue.

What I have is if I have a recurring event, say a meeting every Monday at 7:00PM, and you have to cancel the meeting this coming Monday. I go into edit event, find the particular one on the day I wish to change, and either change it or delete it.  The result is all meetings on Monday at 7:00 take on this change or get deleted.  I have tried adding the event as a recurring event and as one with individual dates, but the results are the same if you modify one of the dates.  I am sure this is a fairly common way of using this and there must be a way to do this short of entering the same event 52 times for the year.  What is the secret?

There is no way to accomplish that as CalendarScript ships 'out of the box'. Recurring events all use the same event record file and if it gets changed, it changes for all.

If you install the 'Split Recurring Event' plug-in available from the Unofficial CalendarScript Mods and Plug-Ins site, you will be able to modify individual recurring events' details.

The Split Recurring Event' plug-in was designed to overcome that particular shortcoming in CalendarScript. I don't know if future versions will have such a possibility built-in.
