We purchased your calendar script last year and installed it on a Verio Server...  It ran like a dream.  Then Verio decided to upgrade the server and it hasn't been running since.  What happens is that each time the script is run, the CHMOD permission change back to the default making updates impossible.  After speaking with Verio's tech support we've determined that it ran fine on Irix 6.5 (on SGI MIPS processor) but is not working properly on Free BSD (Intel Pentium processor).  They have suggested that we use fcntl in your perl scripts in order to keep the session file "locked" so it can update when needed OR use umask for file creations.  Since this is way over my head and I don't know Perl...  I wanted to ask if you have any easier solutions?  Thanks in advanced.

PS.  Unfortunately they will not allow us to go backward compliant back to what we used to be on...
