Hello.  I'm hoping someone has a resolution for me.  

Months ago, I created a CalendarScript calendar called "NYSCUL".  This calendar is viewed by the general public and everything works fine.  

I have now created a new calendar called "Inhouse" for our Intranet.  I created this new "Inhouse" calendar in Global Options / Manage Calendars / Add New Calendar.  Once the calendar was created, I "selected" the "Inhouse" calendar and started to work on changing its template display preferences so that it would look different than our "NYSCUL" calendar.  As soon as I saved the changes, it overwrote my NYSCUL calendar template display preferences.  We had to use our backup tape to restore the settings.

Thinking that I might have made a mistake when switching from the NYSCUL to Inhouse calendar, I tried again and was very careful to make sure I had selected the Inhouse calendar.  When I saved my template display preferences, it once again overwrote the NYSCUL calendar settings and we had to restore the file.

I should note here that when I log into CalendarScript, I am able to choose either the default calendar, NYSCUL calendar, or Inhouse calendar.

Has anyone seen this problem before?  Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I wish I was here to help but I actually need to ask you a question.

I'm looking at your calendar http://apps.nyscul.org/cs/calendar.pl?calendar=nyscul  and am impressed. It does everything I'm struggling to get mine to do. Specifically...

- Dayspan feature (event spans multiple days)
- Space between items (much clearer this way)
- Time & Date show on description page

I found a "dayspan" plugin & various code snippets related to putting time/date on description page. I haven't been able to create a complete solution though.

Can you please point me to the hacks &/or plugins you used. Or email me a copy of your template files?

I would be EXTREMELY appreciative of any help.

Hi Stacey.  Glad you liked our calendar.  I used the CalendarScript support forum to fine-tune our calendar.  The support forum is very helpful and the search feature is great!  I use it alot.

To answer your questions:

I used the dayspan template.  Note: Recurring events do not seem to work with the dayspan template (or at least with my calendar).  I am waiting to see if someone will respond to my posting about this.

To get the space between events, I went to Calendar Administration / Template Display Preferences / Show Bullets.  I selected "Hide" so the bullets do not display.  I also followed the advice in this posting http://www.calendarscript.com/support/forum/Forum4/HTML/000395.html
